British Curry Award 2008

A new chapter for Bangladesh has been initiated by Bangladesh Brand Forum through connecting Bangladeshi Brands with British Curry Award.. ACI became the first Bangladeshi brand to be part of the prestigious British Curry Award.  British Curry Award also announced featuring of Bangladesh’s leading contemporary Artist Preema Andaleeb,  whose painting will be auctioned during the award ceremony. Proceeds from the auction will go to  a British charity.

With an expected audience of more than 1,100 professionals from the spice industry, The British Curry Awards is "The Oscars" of the British curry industry.  Last year, the event was televised in over 127 countries via the Asian Television Network and cable channels, and highlights of the event were broadcast via BBC World, Zee TV, STAR PLUS TV and ATN.  Extensive post-event coverage was also given in the local as well as national and international newspapers.

This is another initiative of Bangladesh Brand Forum in taking Bangladeshi brands in the global market.
